LAKE NONA WAVE HOTEL - ORLANDO FLORIDA

As you can probably tell from our videos (watch them HERE), the Lake Nona Wave Hotel is one of our NEW favorite hotels in Orlando, especially for a 'staycation'!

If this is your first visit, and you are looking for suggestions on things to do in Lake Nona Orlando Florida, the Wave has you covered! With their itinerary suggestions, I guarantee you will experience the BEST of Lake Nona & you won't be disappointed! 

Below is our itinerary while we stayed, and you better believe it was full of nonstop entertainment & a bit of adrenaline-packed adventure!

DAY 1 ITINERARY - Day Of Arrival (Thursday) 

•  3 pm: Check in & do a little exploring. We were so intrigued by the Sculpture Garden out the backdoors of the hotel, so this was the first area we checked out after taking our bags to our room. Be sure to take your phone and scan the QR codes to learn about each piece of art & have fun snapping a few fun pictures too!

• 7 pm: Get cleaned up and ready for the FREE Mixology Class held at Haven Lounge at 7 pm located on the 2nd floor (starts promptly, don't be late because you will miss important 'details' and pieces of the 'story' behind the ingredients and mixtures used). Bekks taught our class and did an incredible job! She is incredibly entertaining and very good at explaining specific details about every ingredient used in each drink we tasted. • 8:30 pm: After Mixology, go downstairs for an 8:30 pm dinner at Bacan. Bacan is a Michelin-recommended dining experience with a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere with food & service that is impeccable. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends, Bacan is the perfect choice! As an appetizer, we chose to try the Octopus Anticuchero, and for the main course, Nate had the 44 Farms 8 oz Filet Mignon, and I had the Branzino A La Plancha. NOTE: I would suggest making a reservation if you want to eat between 6-8 pm. These seemed to be the busier times, especially if you are coming on a weekend! 

•  After Dinner head back upstairs to Haven Lounge for some live entertainment & be sure to try one of the signature cocktails! Nate went with The OG & I tried Life's A Peach, and YES! We were both delighted with our choices!

DAY 3 ITINERARY - Saturday (day of check-out) 

• In The AM Before Check-Out  (before 11 am): Have a nice breakfast at Haven Kitchen, or order some room service for a quick bit to eat. If you have a little time before you check out of your room, grab your gym gear and head over to the Lake Nona Performance Club, & get in a good workout session, rock climb (like we did HERE), spinning class, yoga, golf lessons (extra charge), or even a relaxing Spa experience (extra charge)!
• LNPC is the most comprehensive gym, fitness &  wellness centers in Orlando Florida & YOU GET FULL ACCESS TO IT for being a guest at the Wave Hotel! Once again, this is about a block away from the hotel & can be easily accessed via foot or the FREE Beep Shuttles parked in the parking garage across from Wave.

NOTE: I would suggest you pack your bags & leave with the front desk (or in your car) just in case you stay at the LNPC past 11 am (check-out time) & take a change of clothes with you. They have showers, towels, & basic soaps (free of charge) in the locker rooms. To be honest, we could have stayed at the LNPC for hours, because of how large it is and the amount of activities that are included! DON'T MISS THIS!
